Global smartphone brand OPPO launched its new smartphone OPPO A55 in India on Friday, which will be available in two memory variants.
The 4GB + 64GB version will be available for Rs. 15,490 starting Sunday, while the 6GB + 128GB model will be available on Amazon Mazon from October 11 and main stores will be available for Rs 17,490.
The smartphone has a 50-megapixel AI triple camera, 2-megapixel bokeh arrows, and a 2-megapixel macro grip. It also has a 16-megapixel selfie camera, the company said in a statement. (Also Read: Elon Musk’s Starlink To Offer Broadband Service In India From Dec 202)
The device has a long lasting 5000 mAh battery that allows for around 30 hours of talk time or 25 hours of music streaming. It also comes with 18W fast charging technology which gives the phone 33 percent interest in just 30 minutes, the company claims.
The OPPO A55, available in rainbow blue and star black, plays up a stylish 3D curved design. The smartphone also has an IPX4 rating for splash protection and a battery cover with a dirty metal structure.
OPPO Color OS 11.1 runs on smartphones, which has performance enhancing functions such as System Booster, Passive Time Optimizer, Storage Optimizer and UI First 3.0; Game-focused functions such as game focus mode and bullet screen as well as security functions such as low battery status SMS, private vault and app lock.
It also includes a Flexdrop feature that minimizes app windows when you multitask and uses Google Lens to translate with three fingers so you can capture and translate text from screenshots.
