New Audio Support for iPhone, iPad from Netflix

Netflix is ​​finally starting to resemble Spatial Audio for its iOS and iPadOS apps. The new utility will be available to iPhone and iPad subscribers and will only work with AirPods Pro and AirPods Max. In January, Netflix was asked to test Spatial Audio support for its iOS app for the first time.

Netflix spatial audio recordings are deemed to have been verified by a Netflix representative and will be performed for iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 or later. When enabled, it enables a bright encounter with the targeted audio channel. Apple introduced Spatial Audio for select gadgets with iOS 14.6 or higher in May.

According to a report by 9to5Mac, a Netflix spokesperson confirmed that the real-time video stage is adding Spatial Audio to its iOS app. iPhone and iPad customers should be able to experience the new audio utility when using AirPods Pro and AirPods Max.

The representative further confirmed that the new utility will be available for iOS 14 or later subscribers. The utility of Netflix’s spatial audio was first described by Reddit users and finally by the French edition of Generation. Gadget 360 is also ready to test its focus on spatial audio.

In January, it was first reported that Netflix was trying to support Spatial Audio for its iOS app.

Customers can enable or disable the Spatial Audio utility using the toggle in Control Center. In order for the iOS gadget element to work, Netflix representatives mentioned that subscribers must have the latest form of the app. As updates are likely to be phased out, customers are advised to regularly check for updates if they have not received them by this time.
