Litecoin is accepted anywhere with VISA payment

Litecoin, an open-source altcoin, continues its significant partnership with VISA. Altcoins are now accepted wherever VISA is located. This means that users can now use Litecoin to pay for any service or product that accepts VISA card payments. This includes retailers, online shopping, restaurants, digital services, and more.

Litecoin’s official VISA debit card converts cryptocurrency into US dollars in real time. There are no additional transaction or deposit fees for using this VISA debit card, only a fixed monthly fee of $5.

However, this monthly fee is also waived if the consumer spends more than $750 per month. Users can also link this card to the LTC Wallet app.

Although Litecoin tweeted this news today, its VISA card has been available to US residents for almost a year. Consumers are urging altcoins to clarify the term “everywhere” on social media. The LTC VISA card is still only available in the US, but the claim that the token is available “everywhere” means it will be used worldwide. So there is still a lot of speculation to confirm this thriving altcoin.

Partnership between Litecoin and AMC Theater
LTC has been flying under the crypto market’s radar for months as other altcoins like Shiba Inu, Solana and Dogecoin have been in the spotlight. However, it seems that the Bitcoin-based blockchain cryptocurrency is trying to end the year again with a boom.

Just two days ago, Litecoin announced that AMC Theater would accept LTC as a means of payment. LTC owners can now pay with tokens to watch their favorite movies. Earlier this month, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia announced that consumers can buy, sell and hold LTC along with Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum using their official banking app.

So Litecoin made big strides in the last quarter of the year. Altcoins have grown by more than 34% in the last 7 days. But there is still a long way to go to reach the previous record of $410.26 set in May.

LTC is currently trading at $266.79 at the time of writing.
