Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday announced a scholarship of Rs 20,000 a month for two years for Anjali, a student from Mahendragarh who got 100 percent of the class 10 CBSE exam.
The Prime Minister also congratulated Anjali and her family members via video call. Khattar said Anjali not only broke records, but also broke records that were difficult to break.
When Anjali tells her dream of becoming a doctor, the Prime Minister assures her that she will enroll in any medical college in the country she wants.
When Anjali and her mother informed the Prime Minister about their financial situation, Khattar immediately announced an allowance of Rs 20,000 per month for them.
Remarkably, Haryana is the first state in the country to distribute tablets to five thousand students in public schools.
