Apple’s New MacBook Pro Models, AirPods, HomePod mini Colours Show Where the Cupertino Giant Is Heading

Apple has expanded its MacBook Pro lineup to include 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models this week. The new MacBook Pro not only has a few design changes, but also a completely new silicon solution in the form of the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips. This new patented system chip (SoC) was developed for AMD and Intel. Along with the MacBook Pro (2021), Apple has the AirPods (3. The company is also introducing a new mini home color).

In this week’s episode of Gadgets 360 Podcast Orbital, new MacBook Pros, AirPods (3 Colors and Sound Schemes Musical Moments.

Discussions started with the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips, which Apple developed as two separate upgrades to last year’s M1. The new option from Silicon has 10 CPU cores and up to 32 GPU cores. However, Apple has decided to stop talking about its new silicon offering as there are no further details about the A-series processors that support the iPhone and iPad series.

However, Apple claims that its M1 Pro and M1 Max offer 70% faster CPU performance than the original M1. The M1 Max should offer nearly six times the memory bandwidth of the M1 and four times faster than the GPU.

Apple has packaged memory in its CPU packages as a single chip which contributes to better performance and greater energy efficiency. Artificial intelligence (AI) is also a neural engine for acceleration.

In addition to the new chips, we’re talking about a total of 16-inch MacBook Pro (2021) and 14-inch MacBook Pro (2021). The new machines have improved functionality, as well as a better design and additional connections that we have compared to the previous ones. You get an HDMI port and an SDXC card slot.

The MacBook Pro (2021) costs Rs 1,94,900 for the 14-inch type, while the 16-inch model starts at Rs. 2.39,900.

As a typical move, the new MacBook Pro models have a hack – just like the latest iPhone models. The notch helps Apple provide a better aspect ratio for the body and pixel count. When using a MacBook Pro, it doesn’t look like the Notch on the iPhone – thanks in large part to the top bar that appears in all apps.

The new MacBook Pro also features a mini LED display designed to enhance the viewing experience. There are also physical function keys on the keyboard since Apple decided to turn off the touchpad.

Now that we’ve talked about the new MacBook Pro models, let’s move on to the AirPods (3rd generation), which are the successor to the AirPods (2nd generation) and look like the AirPods Pro. Ali joins us to tell you about the top updates and discuss whether you should go with the new AirPods or stick with the existing model.

Airpods (3rd generation) cost Rs 18,900 in India. However, AirPods Pro are available for a much lower price – thanks to the current Christmas sale.

We also touched on the Apple Music Voice plan which costs Rs. 49 per month. This is specifically for accessing the Apple Music Collection via Siri – with your voice. The introduction of the new plan seems like a marketing ploy to increase Siri usage and start as a strong contender against Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Blue, orange, cosmic gray, and yellow are also the new mini colors of the home pod. They are meant to attract people who are looking for colorful furniture in their rooms. Homepod Mini costs Rs 9900.
